Synopsis: The Enterprise finds a data archive from a long-dead culture inside a comet. While probing the comet, the Enterprise is assaulted by a sensor echo and the ship begins slowly transforming into an alien city. Meanwhile Data becomes inflicted with multiple personalities – apparently entities from the ancient civilization.
